Dr. Ashton has participated in the Annual ACVO Service Animal Examinations since May of 2008. Exams are free of charge to all registered animals including Law Enforcement, Border Patrol, Guide Dogs, Disabled Veterans Service Dogs, Tramatic Brain Injury (TBI) Service Dogs, and many others. Our valued and loyal dogs are free of eye diseases and receive care to keep them, their handlers, and owners safe.

Genetic and Corneal Eye Disease
Corneal eye diseases are characterized by white, opaque mineral (either cholesterol or calcium) deposits within the cornea (the clear front part of the eye).
