Dr. Ashton developed a property in the Jefferson Business Center to house a fully equipped veterinary ophthalmology suite for referral of medical and surgical eye cases to serve the community. Animal Eye vet , Inc. opened its doors on August 8, 2016.

Dr. Ashton accepts referrals for large and small animal cases, dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds, wildlife rescue or rehabilitation centers as well as equine and farm animals.

Animal Eye Vet Inc. was founded by Dr. Marcella Ashton DACVO in January 2015 to ensure continued veterinary ophthalmologic care to her ophthalmic patients and loyal clients established in the Temecula and Murrieta areas and Riverside County.

Animal Eye Vet Inc, is the first independently owned and operated exclusive Veterinary Ophthalmology referral service in Riverside County.

Having spent many years in small and large animal, equine and emergency and exotic practice in four countries and across four US states, Dr. Ashton offers years of surgical and general medical experience allowing her to work closely with your veterinarian to help diagnose, examine, treat and manage your animal’s ocular condition.

Time spent in general and private practice and multispecialty referral Specialty Clinics have given Doctor Ashton insight into handling and managing cases from the simple to the complex and confounding.

Dr. Ashton is committed to living and working in the Temecula and Murrieta community where her son attends a local school. As an independent owner, operator and manager of a small business working in a purpose facility dedicated to ophthalmology, she hopes to offer a more personalized, affordable, quality referral care that is fitting with the community and family pet needs.
